A plant-based feast on a plant-based roof. It’s hard to believe such a big, beautiful, productive farm exists on a roof -- 65,000 square feet (1.5 acres), towering 12 stories over the East River. Brooklyn Grange is a pioneer in urban rooftop farming. The farm was installed in 2012 with diversified crops, fruits and flowers, and now serves a successful CSA and many restaurant partnerships. abcV is Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s new vegan/vegetarian restaurant inside ABC Carpet & Home. Chef Neal Harden has been vegan since he was 14. His cuisine has received acclaim from Vogue, Bon Appetit, Food & Wine and two stars from the New York Times. Chef Neal will find everything he needs for the table after pressing 12 on the elevator.
