The Mediterranean meets Napa Valley at this 32-acre organic vineyard. Olives, pomegranates and meyer lemons grow alongside rows of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah and Petit Verdot. Tres Sabores is hidden from the crowds in a quiet part of Napa near the edge of the Mayacamas mountains. It’s a great place to meander, and farmer/winemaker Julie Johnson is our guide. Guest chef Nichole Accettola cooked in Copenhagen for 10 years before opening her celebrated Scandinavian restaurant, Kantine, with a focus on local California ingredients. She’ll bring her wholesome, simple fare to the field kitchen for a night of what the Nords call “hygge” – intimacy, togetherness and inner warmth (especially after a few glasses of wine).
