This is history. The 50th Anniversary! The University of California-Santa Cruz Farm and Garden has played a central role in the success of organic and sustainable farming in both the USA and around the world. Several dozen past OITF guest farmers have studied at this beautiful UC campus in the hills above Santa Cruz or have been directly influenced by work done here. So much farming knowledge, and also a very beautiful place to set an outdoor table. Come savor the story. In the field kitchen will be Brad Briske, who's built a stellar reputation for himself in the Monterey Bay area and just opened the doors of his own restaurant last year. Maybe his sister will draw her bow and shoot us a wild boar for dinner.
