Talk about ambience. It’s almost ineffable until you’re here, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Alexander Valley on a sunny afternoon, sipping a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon in a vineyard where the grapes are picked by hand. This majestic ranch has been in the Miller family since 1963 – once grazing fields for cattle, now vineyards planted to Cab, Merlot and Chardonnay. We first worked with guest chef Ravi Kapur in 2012 when he blew us away with his creative take on Hawaiian flavors. Ravi has cooked with us at the Sea Cove and in the fields of several Bay Area farms; he even came to Maui with us in 2015. This will be his first dinner in a vineyard.
