Michael and Leslie Marchand started Whitehurst Heritage Farm in 2014 with the intention of getting out of the city and reconnecting to the land. Their farm in Brenham is home to grass-raised chickens and turkeys (and their eggs), as well as free-range forested hogs. This is beautiful Texas country, as good as it gets. Chef Ryan Lachaine will take his place in the field kitchen. Ryan's cuisine combines local Texas flavors and ingredients with inspiration from his Ukrainian heritage and French-Canadian upbringing in Manitoba.
