Bountiful Queens Farm dates back to 1697 and occupies New York City's largest remaining tract of undisturbed farmland. Kennon Kay is our friend and resident charmer/farmer. If it’s a warm day, we’ll dine in a lovely forest. A cooler day calls for a table by the vegetables. To understand how food arrives at the table, take a walk with the farmer. John Karangis is the Executive Chef of Union Square Events, the catering and venue hospitality business of Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group. Drawing inspiration from the farmers and artisans that supply Union Square Events with fresh, local produce throughout the year, John’s menu for Outstanding in the Field will be a taste of summer in New York.
