Guest Chef Timothy Wastell has been cooking farm-forward cuisine for his entire career. He has worked at many of Portland’s best restaurants through the years, and in between, honed a passion for heirloom vegetables and seed saving. Chef Tim’s reverence for seasonality is palpable, and we look forward to seeing what he’ll serve up at Vibrant Valley Farm this year. Farmer Kara grows various vegetables with love and a deep-rooted respect for ancient farming traditions. This chef/farmer team is a powerhouse of the new food movement. Vibrant Valley sits on Sauvie Island, a tranquil island along the Columbia River.
