We’ve set the table at Love is Love Farm at Gaia Gardens for as far back as we can remember. This year we thought we’d spread the love to another Georgia farm. Farmers Rachel, Bob and Stevenson grow vegetables for CSA members, Atlanta-area chefs and for Wrecking Bar Brewpub in Atlanta’s Little Five Points. In fact, the guys from Wrecking Bar recruited Rachel from Love is Love when they bought land for their farm just last year. She’ll tell us what it’s like to start a farm from scratch. We’ll stretch the long table between rows of first-crop vegetables, and Atlanta chef Ian Winslade will prepare the feast. Chef Winslade is a Brit who's worked in London, New York (at Eric Ripert's Le Bernardin) and L.A. He came to Georgia to work with Jean-Georges Vongerichtens, and now heads up the kitchens of several buzzy Atlanta hot spots.
