Porter Creek is a major tributary to the Russian River, and this is one of the first certified organic vineyards, with some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the area. The winery is a father-son team. Son Alex makes the wine -- only about 4,000 cases a year! We love visiting new wineries, and we love the Russian River Valley! Matt Millea joins us from Big Sur, where he has worked in the kitchens of Post Ranch Inn and Ventana Inn. Matt is an old friend of OITF, and has helped out with many dinners in many fields. We can't wait to see what he cooks up.
