Secret Sea Cove
Sunday, May 8th, 2016 @ 3pm
One of our most popular dinner sites. A table on a scenic beach is a magical place to experience fresh local seafood. With enough wind it can also be a place to experience the crunch of sand in food. Fortunately we have a tall cliff to shield us from breezes. Crossing the temporary bridge (which we construct anew each year) brings a stunning vision of our table spiraling around a bonfire in waiting, which will be lit later in the evening as the weather cools. Guest chef Gonzalo Guzman hails from Nopalito in San Francisco, a restaurant that emerged from the noted Nopa. Gonzalo's specialty is the cooking of Mexico, and Mexico is known for seafood. Fisherman Hans Haveman will hand over his catch to Chef Gonzalo and the OITF crew will gracefully carry platters across the bridge to the table.
The exact location of this dinner is a secret. Guests will receive directions two weeks prior to the event.
