The best of the best. Last year, Chef Jim Christiansen showed us how it’s done. It can’t possibly get any better when it comes to dining on the farm; so creative, so beautiful, so delicious. Which explains why Jim is a 2017 James Beard Award semi-finalist for Best Chef: Midwest. This year, he is showing us a new farm site, Tangletown Gardens. Scott Endres and Dean Engelmann are farm boys. They grew up on farms and learned to love and appreciate plants, animals and growing things. As adults, their love for the soil has expanded to the care and preservation of the land for future generations. Their farm has a lot going on from one end to the other. Before sitting down at the table, we will explore and take in the story.
