Oysterman CJ Husk, sometimes called The Sea King, has a regal bearing and friendly demeanor. His kingdom is the oyster bed. Get close, wiggle your toes in the sea grass and get a feel for the merroir (like the terroir of winemaking, but in the water). CJ and Island Creek Oysters founder Skip Bennett are our guides. Guest chef Charlie Foster of Woods Hill Table will take a day away from the restaurant, which was recently honored as the first in the USA to receive three stars from the Sustainable Restaurant Association, which includes harvesting ingredients straight from their own thriving farm. We will feast on the wonders of the sea.
