Ampelos Cellars is the first certified organic, biodynamic and sustainable vineyard in the United States. In the informal sense of the word, the wine tastes certifiably amazing. Peter and Rebecca are longtime participants in Outstanding in the Field. In past years they have generously taken in our wandering band of culinary adventurers. That’s not something you forget, especially when you’ve gone alllll the way across the country and alllll the way back again. We will dine in the vines.
