Our second night at CJ’s is bound to be as joyous as the first. There still will be plenty of oysters to slurp and wine to wash them down with as you look out at the glimmering bay. Guest chef Charlie Foster will wear his wellies to helm the beach kitchen for a thoughtful meal of coastal terroir. Woods Hill Table has gained national recognition for its pasture-to-plate menu and commitment to sustainable practices, including sourcing from their own working farm over the state line in New Hampshire. Chef Charlie was a peripatetic chef before settling in Concord to open his own place. He was the personal chef for the Guinness family in Spain, executive chef in Daniel Boulud’s DBGB in D.C., worked in several of Boston’s favorite restaurants, and further honed his technique at restaurants in Sweden and Belgium.
