It is said you are what you eat, and what you put in your body (and your mind) shapes who you are. If that’s true, then Farmer Dina is an organic peach. She is also a rainbow trout. And a sun gold tomato. Dina and her crew grow a vast variety of organic fruits, vegetables, flowers and humanely raised animals. The Hickories shows a better way of living, a better way of eating, and a better state of mind. Chef Brian Lewis of The Cottage in Westport was nominated for a 2018 James Beard Award as a semi-finalist for Best Chef: Northeast. Dina will have what he needs to show us a taste of place.
