We return to Alex Weiser’s farm, in collaboration with the LA FOOD BOWL, for the second year in a row – this time with a different celebrated South American chef. Last year, our table with Peruvian master chef Virgilio Martínez Véliz was set next to an exact size re-creation of the Nazca Hummingbird. This year, Chef Rodolfo Guzmán joins us from Chile, and we will dine with the Atacama Giant (google it!), which when composed, will be close to 400 feet tall. Chef Rodolfo will create a feast utilizing both grains and vegetables harvested from the fields and foraged finds from the surrounding mountains. Two years ago, the Outstanding in the Field crew traveled to Chile’s Casablanca Valley and set our table in the vines of Emiliana Organic Vineyard. One of the highlights of our trip was dining at Boragó in Santiago. We look forward to welcoming Chef Rodolfo to Weiser Family Farms!
