Outstanding guest chef and Louisiana native Joe Truex's impressive resume includes training under Chef Daniel Boulud at Le Cirque in NYC, a longtime sojourn heading up the kitchen at Atlanta's Watershed restaurant, and a recent gig in Dubai. Joe is a big OITF fan and will go just about anywhere we ask. We didn’t ask him to, but at a previous event in Atlanta he climbed over a fence and fell. Since then, Joe has bounced back (with a few scars) and is more than ready for new adventures. Farmer Mayflor Chokshi started her Certified Naturally Grown (CNG) farm in 2008. She spent 30 years as a Registered Nurse (possibly useful for Joe) and is a longtime practitioner of hatha yoga. She believes that mindfulness and balance start with food that has as much heart as health.
