We fell in love with Tony Maws back in 2012 when we first hosted him at Allandale Farm. His ingredient-driven food is a great match for our field kitchen, especially at this legendary urban farm where the late-summer trees shade the grasses where we’ll set the table. Allandale grows a myriad of organic vegetables and summer fruits right in the city limits of Boston, and Chef Tony is equipped to transform them into the kind of French-inspired, “refined rustic” meals that made him famous. Tony has been voted Boston’s Best Chef and one of America’s Best Chefs by Food & Wine. This dinner is close enough to downtown Boston to take the T, and just far enough to feel the tranquility of the countryside.
