We’re thrilled to return to the fine state of Iowa and the incomparable Grade A Gardens. It will be pretty hard to beat last year – when we watched Farmer Jordan propose to farmer Whitney during reception (she said yes!) – but we think we can do it. Join us for another charming, colorful table among the blossoming fruit trees… or the flower beds in full bloom… or maybe the fragrant herb garden? We won’t know until the morning of – that’s part of the farm dinner fun. This year, chef Kevin Scharpf helms the kitchen for the first time. You may recognize Kevin from last year’s Top Chef. Kevin is an Iowa native who earned his chops in the big-city kitchens of Daniel in NYC and Elizabeth in Chicago. Now he’s back in his hometown where he works closely with area farmers, highlighting “roots + soil” and ”farm + fish” on his seasonal menus.
